Blast Updates
Each week, we are getting closer to wrapping up the production-ready version of the new Blast product. In this release we:
Updated the Blast index page to the backend calls to pull in the live data and associated actions
Added in validation once any messages are scheduled to prevent editing previous steps in the campaign and creating bad data
Updated the styling of the navigation stepper of the campaign creation flow to make it more obvious that they are sequential steps
Added the number of contacts that exist in each list next to the name of the Contact List within the dropdown on that step in the creation process
Update Contact Info from Conversation Panel
You can now add or update the contact information for a mobile user directly from the conversation panel. This will eliminate the need to go to the Contacts page and find the particular contact to edit or manually add.
Instead, you will be able to do this while in the conversation with the contact.
We have surfaced an edit contact icon next to the name/number of the contact at the top of the message history panel. Clicking this will pull up the slide out panel allowing you to edit the contact information right then and there.
Zipwhip Migration Tools
We have created a number of tools that will allow us to automate much of the account setup, line setup, and data transfer of client accounts.
Extended the data migration tool to also go out and retrieve message attachments and download them into our system
Created a console application that will create client accounts and lines in bulk
Usage Queries
We have created the underlying queries that will support our ability to display usage against billing plan in the platform for clients. These queries will look at both the message plan usage and the user plan usage.
Minor Updates
We updated the background color of the selected item in the rail navigation of the platform. It is no longer an aggressive green.
We have gone through many of the action buttons in Conversations and Contacts and tagged them with unique IDs so we can begin doing event tracking in the platform to understand user behavior and navigation flows.
Bug Fixes
HIGH: Pagination was broken on the Lines page in Account Manager (CRUDy)
