RingCentral | Validate Users Troubleshooting Module
This is the first of several troubleshooting utilities that we will be building into CRUDy to support RingCentral integration account issues.
In a previous release, we created a new RingCentral tab on the Account page that would allow our team to see if there is a valid Bot installation for the given account. That is typically the first step in troubleshooting issues.
We have now added a new Troubleshooting section with module designed specifically to address the second most common cause for issues, validating that users match between RingCentral and the Textel platform.
To use this module:
Go to the Account page for the client, and click on the RingCentral tab
Click on the Validate Users button in the User Validation card
Wait for the results.
If the users match between systems then you will get a success and will need to move on to the next items in our troubleshooting checklist.
If the users do not match, you will get a CSV file of the list of users in the Textel platform that DO NOT match any active/valid user on the RingCentral side. If invalid users exist, then the integration will not work because we cannot post into RC including users that do not exist.
Alphanumeric Sender Id Support
We have update our backend code to support the adding/saving/sending using Alphanumeric Sender Ids. Alphanumeric Sender Ids are only for international use, they do not work/apply for domestic traffic.
Currently, we only support in-country texting using an alphanumeric, not sending to multiple countries as that requires some extra routing logic and testing. We have additional testing to do, but our goal is to onboard our first client in the next week or two who is going to use a UK alphanumeric sender Id.
Nice | Adjusting the Required Integration Fields
We have made an update to our system to allow us to support the setup and billing of accounts that are being billed through Nice but may not be using the Chat or DFO integration. This applies to clients who may have multiple accounts (like U of Miami) where they are just using our platform as is, but want to be billed through Nice. It also applies to customers who have implemented their own scripts using our Public API. It allows us to set them up and keeps the billing flow intact for usage.
