Blast Template Library
In this update, we are releasing the first version of our Blast Template Library. This feature is aimed at helping clients overcome writers block when attempting to use Blast and encourage more adoption.
Now, when a user creates a Blast campaign, in the first step they can click a link to access the template library. From there they can view a categorized set of templates that they can preview and apply to their campaign.
A few notes:
Applying a template will overwrite any messages you have in your campaign already.
Clients are also able to edit the template messages to suit their needs.
Templates can and will include images, emojis, and dynamic parameters.
Templates can and will include multiple messages in a single template.
We will be adding and adjusting our library as time goes on and have the ability to update the library without a release.
Handle Silent Zipwhip Opt Outs
A number of our customers do not set up opt out responder keywords and as a result, when someone texts the standard opt out keyword of STOP, Zipwhip the carrier will opt the contact out, but our system doesn't have record of that action. Clients who continually attempt to send to opted out contacts can face blocking by the carriers.
We have updated our system so that when we receive an opt out message status from Zipwhip, we will automatically opt out the contact in our system regardless of whether it was triggered by a keyword responder or not. This is beneficial for the client because when the opt out is applied at our system level, we do not even attempt to send to the carrier, protecting our client from potential blocking and the mobile contact from receiving unwanted messages.
Link Shortener | Link Management Page
While this page is getting pushed to production, we are hiding it from client view until the rest of the feature is completed.
This page displays a list of the shortened links created in the client's account. Providing details on the destination URL, the Link Name, the shortened Link URL, and when it was created.
From this page a client can not only see what short links they have in their account and search them, but they can also rename the links and toggle if the redirects are active of not for the link.
In the coming weeks we will be releasing the ability to create the short links from various places within the UI as well as the link click reporting.
Textel Logo Update
We updated the Textel logo on our sign up/log in pages to match the newly revised logo that was launched on Textel.net.
