Capacity Contact Syncing Initiative
We are wrapping this initiative up and one of the last pieces that will be released tonight on the Textel side is to update the credentials that we will use in production to communicate with the shared queues with the Capacity platform. These queues will be the way the two platforms communicate about the contact data syncing.
Blast Updates
Blast Campaign Statuses
We have had a few issues related to Blast campaign statuses not being updated appropriately. In a previous release, we added more logging on campaign events to help us identify the causes and in this release we believe we have added a number of changes to make the Blast campaign statuses update appropriately and reliably.
Blast Index Page Usability
With an influx of new Blast users from the migration, we have seen an increase in requests to change the default sort and persist filter selections on the Blast Index page.Â
International Time Zone Support
While we have supported international texting for some time, we are now onboarding clients who are based internationally, not within the US. To make sure they get the best use of several features in our platform, we needed to expose the ability for them to select an international time zone in their account settings. This setting dictates message time stamps, send windows, Blast scheduling etc. We had originally limited the selection list to domestic time zones for ease of use, but now we have exposed the entire set both in the client UI and in our internal tool, CRUDy.
Carrier Adjustments
We had two remnant carrier issues that we needed to address in the platform.
Increase the column size for storing Twilio's raw request body as certain times it is exceeding our current limits
Now that everyone is off of Zipwhip, we have removed the arbitrary image resize limit that we needed to impose to accomodate them. Now our image resize limit is 3.4MB instead of 500KB which is consistent across Bandwidth and Twilio.
