Keyword Responder Action - Adding Contacts to a List
We have refactored the framework for handling actions that Keyword Responders are able to execute, allowing for a wider variety of action types as well as the support for a Keyword Responder executing multiple actions.
The first new action that we are rolling out for Keywords is the ability to specify a contact list that the mobile contact should get added to when they text in the Keyword.
This is going to be really helpful for a lot of clients who want to easily segment targeted marketing lists.
To Set Up
Open the Keyword Responder modal (either create a new one or edit existing)
Under the Actions header at the bottom, check the "This Keyword will add contacts to a contact list." option
Select the Contact List
Reporting Updated to Accommodate Group Messaging
We have updated several of our reports to reflect the fact that some conversations can include more than one destination (aka more than one mobile contact). With the Reply All Group Messaging feature, clients who have Bandwidth lines can create a conversation with up to 9 mobile contacts.
As a result, we had to update reporting to showcase when there was more than one destination number and for Conversation History, allow clients to select based off of the Group Name.
Contact Imports - Additional Performance Optimizations
We made a few more adjustments to how we process Contact Imports to allow for larger imports to process faster and without timeouts. This should increase the number of contacts that clients can import in a single spreadsheet.
Bug Fixes
HIGH: Hours of Operation Responders | Not Sending on Weekends (or any day set to Null)
MEDIUM: Profile Name Update Doesn't Update Message Author
MEDIUM: Message Protocol Not Being Set in All Cases
Reply-All Group Messaging
Clients (ahem...Gordon Food Services) can now utilize our Reply-All Group Messaging feature as part of our Nice CXone integration. A user with the Group Messaging permission will have the ability to pull up a Create Group Message form that is hosted by our platform, to send out Reply-All Group Messages. Upon send, a chat will get created in Nice and routed appropriately for an agent to handle.
The form will either display all lines that are group messaging enabled, or a specific line that is passed in.
Notes:
This feature is only available on lines provisioned with Bandwidth as a carrier. Zipwhip/Twilio lines cannot be used.
It does require an additional scripting setup for allowing clients to see the form.
