Contact Custom Fields Import
Last week we rolled out Contact Custom Fields where you can add up to five custom fields on the account that can be used and added to contacts. It was only available for when adding or updating contacts in the UI.
In this release, we have added the ability define these values on contacts as part of the import.
v1 Data Migration Utility
For the last month or two, the team has been working behind the scenes to create a utility inside of CRUDy that will allow certain members of our team to move message, line, and conversation data for CCaaS clients on our v1 platform who want to migrate to our v2 platform. There is a lot of work that went into this, but it will allow us to seamlessly move their data (up to a year historical) over from one platform to another.
Moving clients from v1 CCaaS to v2 CCaaS requires a lot more coordination with our implementation and KAM team as there are impacts to scripting that need to be done in conjunction.
Public API Updates
We added a number of endpoints to our Public API in this release.
Queue Blast Summary & Detail Reports | Endpoints that allows clients to queue our Blast Summary and Blast Detail reports.
Queue Link Summary & Queue Link Detail Report Endpoints | Endpoints that allows clients to queue our Link Click Summary and Link Click Detail reports.
Get Account Custom Contact Fields | An endpoint that allows clients to get the details on their custom contact fields defined on the account.
Update Account & Line Usage Reports Use New Reporting Table
Our most frequently used reports, Account & Line Usage in CSV, have been moved over to use our new message reporting table. We were starting to see performance issues running these reports against our live messages table.
This update now returns the data much faster, with better performance, and allows clients to pull back longer timeframes and not hit timeouts.
