We uncovered and fixed an issue within both our v1 platform (which includes Nice and other contact center integrations) and Blast.
Issue:
The combination of an MMS message and emojis, was resulting in the emojis not displaying correctly in the delivered message to the mobile user. Emojis alone and an MMS alone worked as expected, but when using emojis in a message that is send with an MMS (either by attaching an image or by character size) the emoji encoding would break and display incorrectly.
This has been updated on both Blast and v1 and confirmed with a large send by one of our clients, Engaging Solutions.
