Messaging | Expanded List of Accepted Outbound File Types
Since we have decided on our go-forward strategy with our SMS carriers and are moving off of Zipwhip, we have the opportunity to update our platform to adhere to what carriers like Bandwidth and Twilio allow. The first update we are releasing expands the list of accepted file types that can be attached to an outbound message from our platform.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This new functionality is not available for Zipwhip lines. Zipwhip still does not support most of these file types.
As we move all of our lines away from Zipwhip (by November 30th) any customers who have numbers on Bandwidth or Twilio will have the ability to send this wider range of outbound file types.
A very short list of expanded types, see the link below for more.
XLSX
CSV
VCF (vcards)
WAV
MP4

CRUDy | Bandwidth Line Migration Tooling
We have completed one of the Bandwith Line Migration Tools that allows us to, in bulk:
Submit number hosting requests for one or more lines in one or more subaccounts
Generate and submit a self-signed LOA for the hosted number requests
Associate the 10dlc Campaign Id to the newly added lines in the subaccount
This is an important part of our process for migrating 10dlc lines off of the Zipwhip carrier and onto Bandwidth.
Responders | Increase Cooldown Time to 90 Seconds
When we released the Text Bots powered by Capacity inside of Textel, we decreased the cooldown time between when we would send a responder to an incoming text. That cooldown time proved to be too short, so we have increased it to 90 seconds. What this means is that we will not send you the same responder again if you text in again within 90 seconds.
Reporting | Update Conversation History Report to Use Message Report Table
Just as we have done with our other reports, we have updated the Conversation History report so that it is now pulling data from the database table that was specifically designed for reporting instead of our messages table (and joining against other tables as well).
The report is now not only more accurate, but runs much faster with less load on the system. We also added some additional columns to the report as they were available:
Delivery Status
Agent First Name
Agent Last Name
Billed flag
Platform Health
CRUDy | Line Integration - Update the CRUDy save line call that is used on the single line creation/save and bulk line creation to make sure we are not creating multiple line integration entries in the database.
